Pipe Dream

Publication Design

Fall 2013 to Spring 2016

Overview

From 2013 to 2016, I created interactive experiences for Pipe Dream, the student-run independent newspaper at Binghamton University. My work at Pipe Dream helped to develop my passion for journalism and my ability as a designer to spread information and create a platform for individuals to get their voices heard.

Twice per week, I directed the design of a product with which 15,000 readers would interact. I joined as a contributing designer then successively held the positions of design intern, design manager and ultimately, managing editor.

As managing editor in 2016, I led a project to redesign Pipe Dream's website. Read more about it here.

In Spring 2017, I led a project to reinvent the user experience of Pipe Dream's content management system, Pipe Line. Read more about it here.
